If you’re a parent of a Raglan Area School student or interested in having your kids join our school then you may like to join our Raglan Area School Parents Group.
We’re a group of keen parents who wanted to provide a forum for parents to come together, share ideas, and put forward our views to the school. We’re just new and we’re yet to develop any formal objectives but here are a couple of things we think we can achieve by forming a parent group:
- A group for Raglan Area School Parents to communicate with each other about the school’s current happenings, future plans, issues parents may need help with, ideas, support.
- We want to help give parents a voice and increase their active involvement in decision-making, fostering a culture of ownership and participation.
- We also want to develop a partnership between the school and parents/carers in order to support and promote student learning and bring about change.
