RAS girls won their last game of the competition by default.  The girls were so looking forward to playing their last game and were really disappointed to not actually play a game.  The good news is they ended up coming 3rd overall in the competition.

Although they didn’t actually have a game, they went to support the boys’ who played Nga Taiatea Wharekura in the finals.  RAS boys’ ended up coming 2nd overall. They played a well fought game.  Congratulations and well done boys!

We are attending the regional competition at Tauranga in September and are now actively fundraising for this event.  If you can support this team in anyway, please contact Gwyn Brodie at school.

Once again thanks so much to LJ Hooker for their sponsorship, it really made a huge difference.  Thanks to Rangi and Nessa, the coaches, to Joe Rao for getting things sorted, and the parents for their support with driving the van.
