Raglan Area School Senior Boys and Girls basketball teams have started the competition with excellent performances against Ngaruawahia College.
The Senior Girls Basketball team showed great skill under the excellent coaching of Rangi Rongo to convincingly beat Ngaruawahia.
Players of the Day Madison Cobham -Petch and Tatijana Keefe played extremely well according to coach Rangi Rongo.
The Senior Boys Basketball team showed great spirit, skill and attitude by beating Ngaruawahia. Coach Dirk De Ruysscher continues to be an outstanding coach and his players perform well under his expertise. Stand out performers were Amaziah LeLievre and Richard Keremeta, according to their coach.
