FIND OUT ALL THERE IS TO KNOW ABOUT WATER METERS

Residents of urban areas of Raglan will start paying for water use through the water meter system from 1 July 2017.

This means the flat water rate paid by every connected property will cease and residents will pay for what they use.

To ease the transition into the new user-pays system, Waikato District Council’s waters billing team will be holding Meet Your Meter public information sessions over the next month.

These sessions have been organised to give the community an opportunity to meet Council staff and discuss how to read their meter, how to check for water leaks, how the new meter system works and ways they can manage their use of water more effectively.

The dates and venues for the information sessions in Raglan are:

Raglan Council office – 20 February from 9am-3pm

Raglan Creative Market – 12 March
