The Hineora class, with the support of Whaea Jeanette, created a mural backdrop for the Kapa Haka Evening, to be held at the town hall this Saturday night.

The mural was created using fabric, dye and felt tips. The background is a representation of our local environment, Karioi mountain.  The moko kauae represents the moko of a local kuia.

We had lots of fun designing and creating this piece.  We are really grateful for the support of our local kaumatua and we hope they fundraise heaps of money on Saturday for their Rarotonga trip in July.
