On Thursday the 25th of May 16 students from the Year 7-8 syndicate participated in the EPro 8 challenge. This is an engineering technology challenge where students were competing in a very high energy environment against other schools from all over Hamilton. At the end of two long and action-packed hours, one team from Raglan had fought their way into a tie-break to head off to the Waikato semi-finals. In an amazing display of Manaakitanga all teams decided to stay and cheer on our remaining team (Jarvis, Ashton, Kaia and Freda) . After a gruelling, unprecedented hour at the end of a long night we managed to secure a spot in the Waikato semi-finals. A huge thank you to all parents, teachers and students for your endurance with a long day particularly with the late arrival home.
