E4 Museum Trip
Meet 12:30AM@E4 – This Friday 8th May, 2015
Cost – $1 per child/gold coin koha
As part of our continued ANZAC studies, we will be visiting our local Museum tomorrow, Friday (times above – as indicated in the paper copy you have received).
This is a special opportunity, marking 100 years since the landing of ANZAC forces at Gallipoli. The exhibit itself is appropriate for all ages, focusing on artifacts and the stories of local people.
The Museum is a valuable source of information for our community and school. It is a place where we can go to reflect about the past; the similarities and differences between “the olden days” and the present.
Students will need:
- A drink bottle
- Sensible walking shoes
- A raincoat/warm jacket or jersey (weather dependent)
Thanks for the support,
Whaea Sarah Jayne
