Teenaa koutou e te whaanau o te Kura a Rohe o Whaingaroa

We invite parents/caregivers of students who will be in Years 7-13 in 2021 to attend an information session on Tuesday 22 September at Raglan Area School in the staffroom. At these sessions the Senior Leadership Team will be sharing information about the programmes that we will be offering for our students in Years 7-13. We will run one session in the afternoon at 3.30 pm and a repeat session at 6.30pm. A presentation will be shared for approximately 30 minutes and this will be followed by an opportunity for questions to be asked. The information being shared at these sessions will also be made available on our school website, FB page and School App.

We appreciate that parents and caregivers are considering all options that are available to them for 2021. We want Raglan Area School to be your school of choice and guarantee placement for all of our students. We appreciate confirmation of continued and / or new enrollments in our school by the 31 October 2020. Thereafter, every student and his/her parents and/or caregivers will be given an opportunity to come in and meet face to face with a senior leadership staff member and whaanau teacher in November to discuss learning options for 2021.

Specific Information that will be shared at the meeting on Tuesday includes:
  • Our School Prospectus
  • Course Outlines for Years 7-13 students
  • Details for Term 4 Individual meeting opportunities
We will also be running Open Day sessions in the second week of Term 4 on Tuesday 20 October. This will provide whaanau members with an opportunity to visit some classrooms in action and will also provide a further opportunity for questions to be answered.

More information will be shared closer to the date.
