Kia ora e te whānau

We have put together a plan for distribution of  chrome books for Years 5-13 students who do not have devices at home in the event that we need to close partially or fully due to Covid. A survey was sent out  to all Year 7 – 13 students earlier this week to gather information to enable us to implement our  distribution plan in the coming days.

  • Years 11 – 13 students. They can collect a chrome book from the school office tomorrow – Friday 25 February. These students sign for the device.
  • Years 5 – 10 students. Collections will take place from outside the office next  Monday 28th  and Tuesday 29th February between 10am and 1pm.  A parent/caregiver must sign for the chrome book.

Every student with a Raglan Area School Chromebook is responsible for taking care of it and ensuring that it is brought to school every day  and taken home every night. If your child’s class has to remain home in the coming days and weeks they will then have access to this device to continue learning from home. We advise you to keep the chromebook with a cover to keep it clean and protected.

If your whānau is isolating, contact the office (phone 07 8258140) so we can organise an alternative delivery plan. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we are implementing this plan. Take care and stay safe.

Nga mihi
