Last weekend 16 of our years 8-12 students competed in the J16 and J19 Secondary school Waka ama event held at lake Ngaroto in Te Awamutu.
Lots of excitement and effort was put in by our students in their first 6 man Waka ama competition.
Thanks to Whaea Jeanette (girls coach) Matua Matt Dillon (boys coach) Whaea Rose & Whaea Margaret our head chefs and photographer and all the whanau that came to support.
The fire has been ignited within and now we need to continue to feed the energy, desire and willingness to improve our Waka skills.
