Term 2 Year 4 – 7 Home-School Conferences
Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th April 2015
Raglan Area School is offering an opportunity for you to meet and discuss your child’s learning. You are welcome to bring your child/ren to take part in these discussions. We believe that it is important for all parents to attend these meetings so that we can work together to support your child(ren)’s learning.
Please bring your child’s Term 1 report and any questions arising from the report, or about your child’s learning.
These Home-School Conferences will be an occasion where you can:
- Listen to your child and their teacher share the learning that has taken place through the first part of the year.
- Discuss your child’s Term 1 Progress Report.
- Share ways to be involved in your child’s learning at home.
- Address any general queries/concerns you may have.
Please indicate your preferred day and time band on the form below and return to the class teacher as soon as possible. 15 minutes is allocated for each meeting. The meeting time will be confirmed on a return slip within the next few days. If you have commitments that prevent you from attending at any of these times, please contact the class teacher so that a different day or time can be arranged. Where possible, we will co-ordinate meetings for siblings in different classes to be consecutive.
Please note: On Wednesday, 29 April all the Year 0 – 7 students will finish at 12:30pm (lunchtime) to allow time for teachers to conference with families and students.
If you are unable to collect your child, supervision will be provided in the AV Room by Whaea Steph. If you have an early afternoon conference, your child can stay until the appointment time.
We all look forward to meeting with you,
