Tēnā koutou e te whānau o te Kura ā Rohe o Whaingaroa.

The latest school newsletter is now on our website, please click on the link if you have not yet read it.  Closing Kura Teina is not a lockdown situation, but a necessary step to give staff time to get well and come back to school.

This panui is a follow up to let whānau know what is happening in Week 6 Tuesday to Friday and what this means for our Kura Teina tamariki.

Home Learning

From Tuesday, 7th June, Home Learning programmes will be accessible via our school website for whānau to access. These programmes will support your children at home, simply log into our school website and click on the following portal buttons (scroll down the front page of the website to find them):

For this short period of closure (four days), teachers will not be running online classes. However, teachers will be available via email. Your child can share digital files or take photos of their work and send it to their classroom teacher.

On Site Learning – Bubble Classes

These classes will run for the children of whānau who have essential workers in their households and those with other personal circumstances requiring our support. Please contact the office (phone 8258140) if you wish to discuss this further or email principal@raglanarea.school.nz. There will be  two school adults in each class (either two teachers, or one teacher and one learning assistant):

  • Years 0-6 English and Māori Medium:    C2/C3  (adjacent to the junior playgrounds)

Kia noho haumaru, kia pai! Stay safe and keep well.

Ngā mihi
