Tenei te mihi nui, mihi matakuikui hoki ki a koutou katoa
Firstly thank you to all parents who have been supporting our waka kopapa practices over
the last few weeks. A special thanks to Whaea Therese, Whaea Amomai and Nanny Annie
for helping with transporting our tamariki to the awa last week. Tau ke koutou! Our
tamariki were amazing on the awa too. He niiti rawa☺
This Friday the 18th of March is the regatta at Turangawaewae marae, Ngaruawahia.
Please make sure your child arrives at school (Matakokiri) at 7.10am!!
We will be putting on uniform and preparing before we leave at 7.30am and will be
returning to school before 3pm.
Things to bring;
A big packed lunch
A big water bottle
Sun hat
Towel
Warm clothing and clothing for a hot day
There are stalls there so you are welcome to give tamariki pocket money also (but they are in
charge of looking after it)
